EVENT OVERVIEW
The Detroit Polo Classic will take place at Riverside Marina. Located on the Detroit River between Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie, the
Riverside Marina is southeast Michigan’s premier marine facility. Riverside
Marina, originally Harbor Hill Marina, was the vision of Coleman A. Young
and Portfield Wilson. Wilson and Young realized there were very few
Marinas for African Americans with amenities such as the ones they were
building at Riverside.
Portfield Wilson envisioned a marina village with residential neighborhoods, world-class facilities, and culturally specific high-society events. This dream was started in the late 80s and continues. Though Portfield Wilson’s dream is unfinished, the Riverside management team has a strategic roadmap to continue expanding the features and amenities of our current state-of-theart facility. If you haven’t done so already; contact one of our friendly staff members to tour our unique establishment.
There is no will call or festival box office on the event grounds. Please take the time to check that you have received your ticket.
If you have misplaced your ticket or need it re-sent to you, contact us immediately by clicking here. We are unable to accommodate any requests for tickets to be re-sent the day of the event.

All deposits and sales are final no exceptions, unless event is cancelled.
EVENT RULES
All guests must be 21+ with valid proof of ID to attend. No exceptions.
All guests must comply with any Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time of the event.
All guests must wear wristbands throughout the event.
All guests must possess an individual ticket. Proof of ticket will be checked.
No re-entry.
No outside alcohol is permitted on-site.
No disorderly conduct will be tolerated; unruly guests are subject to ejection.
